- 2 TBS olive oil
- 1 bag of Delicious Orchards pizza dough
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
- Pepperoni
- Fresh basil, thinly sliced
- Italian seasoning
- 2 heart shaped cookie cutters, small for pepperoni and a medium for the pizza
Preheat oven 375 degrees.
Spread flour on a large cutting board and roll out the pizza dough.
Using a heart shaped cookie cutter, cut out hearts and place them on a baking pan. Brush each with olive oil. Using a fork, poke the dough with a few holes to release air bubbles while baking.
Add a tablespoon of pizza sauce to each heart, top with shredded mozzarella cheese, heart shaped pepperoni and thinly sliced fresh basil.
Bake at 375 degrees for 5 minutes until cheese has melted and crust is crispy.
Serve warm and enjoy.
